Tincture Fine But Container Sucks

This is my third tincture purchase from SOTT. So far no complaints about the tincture; just the container. The bottle arrived with a cap whose threads didn't align with those on the bottle neck so it was useless. Fortunately, I had a spare bottle on hand that I was able to transfer the tincture into. Perhaps mine was the odd duck; I don't know. My other two tincture bottles were fine. Also, this came with no dosage mark lines, so you have to guess at how much you're taking. Was told that due to the pandemic, this will be the case for all tinctures moving forward. But I think customers should be advised about this, so here it is :-)
5 stars for the tincture and 1 for the container :-)

Use in a combo for sleep

I use this and ashwagandha tincture along with a melatonin cap for better sleep. I am much more "chill". I know the ashwagandha is a big part of that, but it is a synergistic effect/

I love passionflower and I have been using it in my teas for as long as I can remember.

I had not tried the extract until last year and now yours just about four months ago. I love it and I wish I had found it sooner. Thank you for shipping it as quickly as you did.

I want an evening herb, but I don’t want something that feels too heavy. Is Passionflower Tincture more gentle than valerian?

Secrets Of The Tribe

Thank you for your question regarding the Passionflower Tincture. Passionflower and valerian are different herbs and are often incorporated into different wellness routines. Passionflower has a history of traditional use for calming and relaxation, while valerian has traditionally been associated with nighttime wellness routines.

Since individual responses may vary, we’re unable to say which option would be “stronger” or more appropriate for you. If you are looking for an herb to incorporate into your evening wellness routine, Passionflower is a good option, given its traditional use.

We recommend following the suggested use on the product label and consulting your healthcare provider or a licensed herbalist if you need guidance based on your individual needs.
