I've been using cryptolepis for a few months because of the research out of Johns Hopkins on cryptolepis and Lyme disease. I'm also using other herbs. But when I started cryptolepis I began feeling better than I had in a long time. High quality cryptolepis was not that easy to find. I'm so grateful that Secrets carries it.

I had read about cryptoleptis as one of the top herbs to fight a Borrelia infection (otherwise known as Lyme). So, in 2023, I bought my first bottle of Cryptoleptis and I did notice that my health was improving.

I combine the tincture with Japanese knotweed. It's bitter tasting so I add lemon balm to sweeten and also for synergy.

I feel like the cryptoleptis I've taken has high potency and I haven't experienced any side effects. It even helped when I had diarrhea and cramps after eating food that didn't agree with me.

Warning: It is on the bitter side so you might want to take the herb in a little bit of juice or include lemon balm in water.

I first heard about this herb when I read Stephen Buhner's books on fighting Lyme disease. At first, I was a bit fearful of it because it's a powerful herb made from the African geranium and used primarily to fight malaria.

It's also a fighter of the bacteria that causes Lyme. And I noticed several bottles ago, that this herb has also protected me against other infections.

It's one of my three main fighters against Lyme. The other two are Japanese Knotweed and Cat's Claw.

Inflammation is supsiding

I just placed my second order and have recommended to many. I was recently at a friend’s home and their daughter is to take this tincture (different brand, alcohol based). Mom was complaining that she doesn’t take it. I was showing her how I take mine and boy was I glad to have this brand, I couldn’t believe how nasty it was. The alcohol free Secrets of the Tribe tincture helps me a lot with long term Lyme symptoms and it tastes great compared to the other brand I tried. I can definitely tell when I miss a day. Mom has since purchased this brand for her daughter.

The tincture came quickly. I've been taking it for two weeks and my many chronic Lyme symptoms are diminishing steadily. For three months before, I had been on a combination formula of four other Lyme killers, together with a biofilm disruptor. It was good but I plateaued. Taking this tincture has been dramatic as I first took too much and induced a painful herxheimer reaction. Now on a dosage that keeps me functional. Good progress in 2 weeks. I'm very pleased.

Who knows what is in this really or what the ratio truly is - this stuff is not regulated - but it tastes bad, so I assume it is correct. The bottle looks pretty. That’s what matters most!

We're using it to fight chronic strep (in PANS/PANDAS kids) and it's also good as a natural antibiotic against Lyme and other infections.
