Goat’s Rue is a flowering perennial plant known botanically as Galega officinalis, belonging to the Fabaceae family. It's also commonly known as "French lilac," "Galega," "Italian fitch" and "Professor-weed." It prefers temperate grassland regions and grows up to 1.5 meters in height.
